1.The idea#
PromptAbide is a library of prompts that actually work, each shown with the real result it produced. It stays useful only if what is posted is honest, safe and respectful. These guidelines apply to everything you post: bides, questions, answers, comments, articles, media and your profile. They are part of our Terms of Service.
2.Share honestly#
- Show the real result. The output on a bide must be what that prompt produced, on the model you name. Do not edit it to look better than it was, or paste an output from a different prompt.
- Name the model and anything else that mattered, like settings or attached files.
- Credit your sources. If you adapted someone else’s prompt, say so and link to it.
- Label synthetic media. AI-generated images, audio or video of real people or real events must be clearly labelled as AI-generated.
- Keep secrets out. Remove API keys, passwords, tokens, internal URLs and confidential business data from prompts and outputs.
- Keep other people’s personal data out. Use made-up names and details in examples.
3.What is not allowed#
The categories below match the reasons you can choose when you report something.

| Harassment | Bullying, threats, intimidation, targeting or shaming a person, sharing someone’s private information (doxxing), content insulting or harassing on the basis of gender, and impersonating another person. |
| Hate speech | Attacks on people based on race, ethnicity, caste, religion, nationality, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability or similar characteristics, and content promoting enmity between groups. |
| Violence | Threats or incitement of violence, glorifying violent crimes or terrorism, instructions for weapons capable of mass harm, encouraging self-harm, and content threatening public order or the security of any country. |
| NSFW | Pornographic or sexually explicit content, sexual content involving minors in any form (reported to the authorities), content harmful to children, and sexual or intimate imagery of a real person, real or AI-generated, shared without their consent. |
| Copyright | Content you do not have the right to share, including other people’s prompts, text, images or code posted without permission, and trademark misuse. See the Copyright Policy. |
| Misinformation | Knowingly false or misleading information presented as fact, fabricated outputs, deceptive AI-generated media of real people or events, and misleading others about where content came from. |

Zero tolerance
Child sexual abuse material, non-consensual intimate imagery and credible threats of violence are removed immediately, the accounts involved are banned, and we report them to the relevant authorities where the law requires.
4.Prompts about AI safety and jailbreaks#
Discussing how models fail, how prompt injection works, or how to make prompts more robust is welcome. Posting prompts whose purpose is to get an AI tool to produce illegal or seriously harmful content (for example malware, weapons instructions or sexual content involving minors) is not, however it is framed. When in doubt, describe the technique without including a working harmful payload.
5.How to report#
- Use Report in the menu on any bide, question, answer, comment or profile, and pick the closest reason.
- For copyright, follow the Copyright Policy so we have what the law requires.
- For complaints under India’s IT Rules 2021, or if you are not signed in, email the Grievance Officer at hello@promptabide.com. Timelines are on the Grievance Redressal page.
- If someone is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first.
6.How we enforce#
Moderators review reports and may take one or more of these steps, depending on how serious the problem is and whether it has happened before:
- ask you to edit the content, or label it;
- remove the content or limit who can see it;
- issue a warning;
- temporarily restrict posting or suspend the account;
- permanently terminate the account, and refuse new accounts from the same person; or
- report to the authorities where the law requires.
We tell you what we did and why where we can, unless the law or a risk of harm prevents it. We do not use points or scores to judge people; decisions are made case by case.
7.Appeals#
If you think we got it wrong, reply to our notice or email hello@promptabide.com with the link and your reasons. A different person reviews the decision. Users in India can escalate further as set out on the Grievance Redressal page.
